Founding Fathers Called — They Want Article I Back

You know, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Donald Trump doesn’t give a damn about the Constitution.

He doesn’t care about your paycheck, your grocery bill, or whether your kid’s shoes cost $20 more this month because of a tariff he slapped on imports under some fake-ass “national emergency.” What he does care about is power — and right now, he’s using emergency powers like a sledgehammer to tear apart Article I of the United States Constitution.

Let me break this down: The Constitution — you know, the document Trump swears an oath to but probably never read — gives Congress the power to tax and regulate trade. Not the President. That’s Article I, Section 8. That’s the Founders saying: “No taxation without representation.” That’s the whole damn point of this country.

But Trump? He thinks he's a king. He declares an “emergency,” and boom — suddenly he’s unilaterally taxing the American people with tariffs like it’s a Game Show for Authoritarians. “Congratulations, you just won higher prices on everything from eggs to electronics!”

And let’s get this straight — tariffs are taxes. Not on China. Not on Mexico. Not on “foreign bad guys.” On you. On American workers, families, small businesses — the people who have to buy the stuff that just got hit with a giant price hike. And not a damn one of you voted for it, because Congress never approved it.

This isn’t trade policy. This is a grift wrapped in a power grab wrapped in a flag. And the MAGA cult is too brainwashed to notice, or too broke to fight back. Either way, Trump just took a dump on the Constitution and handed you the bill.

So the next time you hear him whine about “big government,” just remember:
He’s the one taxing you without your consent.
He’s the one replacing Congress with his Truth Social feed.
And he’s the one turning "We the People" into "Me, the Tyrant."

Wake up. Stand up. And fight like hell — because if you let this clown keep playing dictator, he’ll tax the Constitution right out of existence.
