He’s a U.S. Citizen!” — ICE Detains Young Man in Pico Rivera, Family Says He’s Missing
WATCH VIDEO: 20-year-old Adrian Martinez stood up to ICE harassment. Now he’s disappeared into the system — with no record, no lawyer, and no answers.
It happened fast.
Adrian Andrew Martinez, just 20 years old, was on a break outside a Walmart in Pico Rivera, California, when witnesses say he intervened to stop ICE agents from harassing another individual. What followed was a disturbing scene caught on camera: at least six armed agents swarming him, forcing him to the ground, and shoving him into a Customs and Border Protection vehicle.
Martinez didn’t fight them. He didn’t strike anyone. He simply stood his ground. And now? He’s gone.

His mother, Myra Martinez, says she can’t find him. There are no ICE records. No booking. No attorney contact. No acknowledgment from the agency that they even have him in custody.
“He’s a U.S. citizen!” she pleaded in a viral video as her son was taken away.
This isn't just a bureaucratic mix-up. This is what an unchecked police state looks like — when agents of the government can abduct someone off the street with no accountability, no transparency, and no due process. Even worse? It’s happening in broad daylight, in America, in 2025.
Where is Adrian Martinez?
He was detained in front of witnesses.
There’s video.
And now there's silence.
This is what abuse of authority looks like — and it’s happening under the radar unless we shout it from every platform we have.
