Trump Crosses a Line

While Mamdani talks ideology, Trump’s talking arrests. This week, Trump openly threatened to deport and arrest Mamdani simply for running for office with the “wrong” ideas. Then he doubled down and said he “pulls all the levers” in the NYC mayoral election.

Let me be clear:
I don’t give a damn what Mamdani believes.
I’ll debate him all day. But threatening him with jail time for running? That’s election interference. That’s fascism in plain sight.

If you’re cheering for Trump to lock up his political opponents, you’ve already left democracy behind.

The Big Beautiful Tax Scam

Over in the House, Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” landed with a thud—and Democrats like Jim McGovern and Jasmine Crockett showed up swinging.

McGovern said it plain:

“Trump just wants a fireworks show for himself.”
