Tucker Carlson DESTROYS Ted Cruz on Trump's War with Iran
The MAGA cult is eating itself over foreign policy—and Cruz just got fed to the wolves.
In a brutal on-air clash, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) went head-to-head with Tucker Carlson on The Tucker Carlson Show last night—and lost. Badly. The interview, already racking up over 16 million views, lit up social media as Carlson grilled Cruz over basic facts about Iran, the very country Cruz wants regime change in.

It started with a simple question:
“How many people live in Iran?”
Cruz blinked.
“I don’t know the population.”
Carlson snapped back:
“You don’t know the population of the country you seek to topple?”
And that was just the beginning.
Carlson, who’s become increasingly vocal against U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict, went on to press Cruz about Iran’s ethnic breakdown. Cruz offered a vague answer—“Persians and predominantly Shia”—but couldn’t cite percentages or offer any specifics. The exchange quickly escalated into a shouting match, with Carlson accusing Cruz of pushing for war without understanding the country or its people.
“You don’t know anything about Iran!” Carlson fired.
Cruz dismissed the grilling as a “gotcha game,” but the damage was done. Even many conservatives were left wondering how someone who supports bombing a country doesn’t even know who lives there.
Later in the interview, Cruz appeared to suggest the U.S. was involved in strikes on Iran, saying:
“Israel is leading them, but we’re supporting them.”
Carlson jumped on it—implying Cruz contradicted Trump’s official position that the U.S. is not directly bombing Iran. Cruz attempted to walk it back, clarifying, “No, we’re not bombing them. Israel is bombing them.” But the moment was already viral.
The whole segment exposed a deeper civil war inside the MAGA machine. On one side: Cruz, Fox News, and the old neocon guard still dreaming of regime change in the Middle East. On the other: Carlson, Bannon, and MTG, all calling for isolationism and warning against U.S. military involvement.
Trump? Nowhere to be found. As usual, the so-called “leader” of the MAGA cult is letting the chaos play out while his movement eats itself.
Cruz took to Twitter afterward to accuse Carlson of trying to “attack Trump” and downplay Iran’s assassination attempts on the former president. But for a lot of viewers, it was too late. The split is real—and the blood is in the water.
