BREAKING: Trump TARGETS The U.S. Constitution

Trump Says He May Not Need to Follow the Constitution: “I Don’t Know” If Due Process Applies to Immigrants

So let me get this straight—Donald Trump, the guy who swore an oath twice to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States," goes on national television and says… he doesn’t know if he has to follow it?

Yeah. That actually happened.

On Meet the Press this weekend, Kristen Welker asked him if immigrants are entitled to due process under the Fifth Amendment. You know, that little thing called constitutional rights. Trump’s response? “I don’t know. I’m not a lawyer.”

Well, no shit, Sherlock. But you are the President. You don’t get to opt out of the Constitution because it’s inconvenient for your deportation fantasy.

This is not a game of Monopoly where you draw a card that says, “Ignore due process. Deport everyone. Collect votes from racists.” This is the actual U.S. Constitution we're talking about. You don’t get to ignore it just because it takes “too long” to follow the law.

He actually said giving people trials—TRIALS—was a problem. Too many trials. Like due process is a scheduling conflict.

Let me translate what he’s really saying: If it slows down my fascist agenda, scrap the Constitution. That’s it. Plain and simple.

And this isn't the first time he’s said the quiet part out loud. He’s been floating authoritarian trial balloons for years. He thinks the courts are in his way, so now he’s undermining the very idea of constitutional rights—again.

But don’t worry, folks—he’s got “brilliant lawyers” to tell him what the Constitution says. That’s comforting. Maybe next time they’ll explain the Emoluments Clause too—he missed that one his entire first term.

This isn’t ignorance. This is intentional erosion of the rule of law. And if we let this kind of talk slide, we might as well shred the Constitution and mail the scraps to Mar-a-Lago.

Because if Trump doesn’t know whether he has to follow the Constitution—then we damn well know he shouldn’t be president.
